A petition titled “Make Overseas Pakistanis culturally included: Add #WaheedMurad to Madam Tussaud’s London” has been launched by the Pakistani-British activist Esther Das at the website Change.org. It is addressed to the Mayor of London, Madame Tussauds London, the Commonwealth and the Pakistan High Commission London.
Ms. Das requests all fans of Waheed Murad to sign the petition so that it can be presented to the said authorities with a request to include a wax statue of Waheed Murad at the Madame Tussauds Museum in London, which is a world-famous tourist attraction and displays wax statues of historical and famous personalities.
